When we ask our clients, “what is home to you?” there’s always a varying, personal picture that comes to mind. We like to take time right at the start of the project, to sit down with you and discover what it is that makes up your ideal home. This forms the basis of everything to come.

Plan

Once we know what we’re working towards, we put together a solid plan of how to get there.

After many years of building homes, we can safely say that a good plan is everything. Challenges are bound to arise and a plan puts it all into perspective. There’s a few components of the plan and we walk you through each one of them so you’re in the know when it comes to all things process. This might sound a little 'step by step', and it is. From our perspective, this is exactly the kind of plan that leads to a successfully controlled project and seamless execution.

Project assessment

First up, we'll engage in an initial meeting to discuss your proposed project. We'll run through a number of basic questions so we can understand your expectations and desires for the outcome. At this point it's time to discuss our start dates, budget and timelines to achieve your completed home. We regularly work with several architects and designers who are all specialists in their own fields. We can refer you to designers who may best suit you and the project.

Concept Design and Budget Estimate

Once a concept design is completed we can complete preliminary estimates. We arrange a time to meet and discuss these concepts including finishes and fittings and your desired outcome. After this, we'll present the estimate for the project for you to review and then move into construction documentation and permits as required. At this point we are engaged as the preferred Builder with a redeemable fee at contract signing for us to invest time into the project.

Proceeding to construction

After the concept estimate and design is approved, the project will move into final documentation. We will work with you, the designer and any consultants throughout the construction drawing stages and be available for reviews, meetings or feedback on design. Upon completion of the construction documentation we will provide a final quote for the project. When this is accepted we can proceed to contract signing and booking a site start!

Envisioning something beautiful, and making it a reality are two complimentary steps of the process.

It takes an excellent team to build an inspiring finished product. We like to think we're exactly that. Our network of trades is a hand-full of the best too. It’s so important to us that we have good, trusted relationships with each trade that walks on-site. This, combined with a few strict rules on site like cleanliness, respect, and work ethic, is our assurance to you that the build component of your project, will be meticulous.

When the satisfying time comes to hand over the keys, it’s a moment to be proud of.
